Abashed I stand askance my throne, to eye this witch before me. In sirens song, Forked silver tongue She claims that she adores me. Atop this pedestal amongst the grey lands and their mire, With hands held high in mighty triumph I brandished heavens fire. Awaken life, once more, through veins once dead.
Though rest my eyes on pretty head. Who is she? A soul with as much lament and sorrow as thine own, Surely not as pitiful a creature as I, could she be? Nay, untrue this angel of gold-

This near catatonic state of mind is the only thing keeping me from stepping over the edge. The mind has become a treacherous place since my heart and mind absconded. Here I sit amongst the low grey clouds, the edges marred and blurred into obscurity. It seems too easy to step over the edge with reason but even easier to do such unknowingly.
Yet I care not to move along, no not yet. I find comfort in these grey fields. This plane is soft and tranquil. No bright lights, no stars to gaze upon and wonder, just these grey fields with their grey light and clouds of greyest sorrow. I
